A: Although we won’t do it for you, we would be glad to give you
some pointers or suggest helpful resources if you are stuck.

Q: What should I do if I find an injured/orphaned bird or animal?

A: First of all, be very careful! Injured animals are often very frightened
and sometimes bite people who only want to help.

The best advice and help can be obtained from the Ohio Wildlife Center.

Q: How do I schedule a program with a Preservation Parks naturalist?

A: Preservation Parks offers public programs on a variety of nature topics.
A complete schedule of programs can be found on our website calendar.

To schedule a special program for your school, scouting, or other group,
call the Education Center at (740) 524-8600,ext. 6.

Q: Are there volunteer opportunities with Preservation Parks?

A: Yes!! From helping at the Mary Barber McCoy Nature Center on weekends, to co-leading nature programs, to invasive plant control and many other opportunities, Preservation Parks encourages volunteerism from individuals, and various organizations, such as scouts, fraternities, sororities, and civic groups.
