Full Moon Hike: The Frog Moon
Join us for a one-mile hike under the moon and stars and learn about
the reason for the strange nickname given to April's full moon.
Warm dress and waterproof footwear are suggested, and refreshments
will be served following the hike. This program is offered in conjunction
with the Delaware Area Walking Group (D.A.W.G.). Dogs are welcome,
provided they are not aggressive and are on non-retractable leashes.

Nature Tales: April Showers bring Wildflowers!
Nature Tales is moving for this month only: to the second Friday
of the month and to Hogback Ridge Preserve, where we will look for
some of spring's earliest signs!

It's spring wildflower season, and it only lasts about 5 weeks!
We will polish our identification skills with a slide show, and
then head out onto the trail to observe the many species to be

Preservation Parks is proud to announce its fourteenth annual March
for Parks- America's largest national walk event for parks.
This event was organized in 1990 to celebrate Earth Day and to raise
awareness and funds for America's national, state, and local public
parks and land. All proceeds you raise will go to benefit Preservation
Parks. At Emily Traphagen Preserve.

Last year we found 4 species of salamanders in the ravines at Hogback
Ridge Preserve. With your help, we can find even more this year!
Wear waterproof footwear as we search for these elusive and delicate
amphibians.

Spring heralds the return of many migratory waterfowl to central
Ohio. Join us for a short walk to the pond at Emily Traphagen
Preserve in search of wood ducks, geese, and herons. Those who choose
can accompany the naturalist for an additional one-mile hike. Waterproof
footwear is recommended.

Preschool Packers: Those Amazing Amphibians!
We will learn about frogs, toads, and salamanders and how these
fascinating creatures lead "two separate lives." We
will make origami frogs, play a jumping frog game, and observe
live specimens. Those who wish are welcome to go for a walk in
the ravine to find some amphibians!
